Had this on tap at Popeye's in Ryogoku, Tokyo. Poured 100ml into a champagne glass. Dark brown hue with a thin dissipating tan beige head. Strong alcohol presence with almost an anise and bitter chocolate flavor. Beautiful mouthfeel and rebirth in the nose highlighting the flavor. Goes well with corned beef and dark meat. One of the best beers i've ever had, period. Iwatekura continues to grow as one of my favorite brewers in the world. If you can find this, please get it and enjoy it slowly!
