Had this in cask condition on tap at Vivo! in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Poured into a UK pint glass. Cloudy dark burgundy brew with a thick tan head. Flavors of gingerbread, leather, hops, and pomegranate can be sussed out of this along with roasted malts. Beautiful mouth feel with a bit staying on the gums. Smell and taste become a bit bland as I drink more, leaving just the roasted malt flavor. Overall, a decent red ale from a great brewer.
