Clear yellow-amber brew with fine-grained foam. Lovely creamy carbonation on the tongue. Touch of honey malt sweetness adds to the pleasure. Light body. Just enough bitterness. Aroma of straw, apricot, and green melon. Tastes of green fruit but tempered by the malt. HInts of chestnut and papaya.
This is from the "Robust Hop Series" which alleges 5 pounds of hops per barrel. In this batch they are Amarillo and Nugget. Rated at 70 IBUs. Highly drinkable overall. Overall, this is a better than average IPA from yet another unheard-of but competent brewery.
