This dark lager has nice toasty notes with a medium body and a finish that leaves you wanting one more.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: super dark brown with some brown highlights when held up to the light; the body appears to be pretty clear of haze. Head is a thin layer of tan foam atop; I think it looks great.
Smell: very malty aroma; biscuity and bready and redolent of caramel malt and perhaps even a little vanilla. It's appropriate to the style, but this is just a bit too biscuity for my taste.
Taste: malty and bready with a bit of dry biscuit and a dash of chocolate. Again, appropriate to the style, but not especially tailored to my palate.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this is a good beer, and a good representative of the style, if not one that especially resonates with me.
