Taster at Abolitionist. Mahogany pour, skin of beige head. Sweet, smoky aroma. Taste is a combo of smoky malts, nutty, brown sugar, light bitterness. On the sweet side, with a lot of smoke.

Light brown color. The head is nearly white and leaves a few streaks on the glass.
Darker and earthy aroma, almost like a cross between a brown ale and a porter.
The flavor is similar to a brown ale with a light hop touch. Smooth, but thin, body with a neutral carbonation. Light semisweet chocolate notes in the finish. The hop is disappointingly low to distinguish it. A high alcohol brown ale?
