This is a unique and complex IPA. The nose provides a load of tropical fruit notes followed by a hint of unsweetened cocoa powder. The pallet starts off slightly fruity but is quickly followed by sharp bitter hops that have a crisp, clean, dry finish.

Issue # 37.
Appearance - Pours a copper with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, mango, peach, citrus, hint of cocoa, papaya, passionfruit, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops upront then goes into bitter piney, and earthy hops. The mango, peach, citrus, papaya, passionfruit, and hint of cocoa come through next followed alongside the pine resin and grapefruit. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, fruits, and hint of cocoa lingering.
Overall - A tasty IPA that delivers on all fronts. The use of the cocoa adds a pleasant sweetness and nuttiness to this IPA. A unique twist to the IPA style by adding cocoa powder. The folks at Zero Issue continue to impress.
