Pitch black, moderate head. Big roasty aroma. Robust flavor of roasted malt with a touch of smoke. Fairly thick and mouth-coating. Robust, filling beer. Brewery seems to have more of an affinity for dark and malty brews.

1/8/2024, on tap at our favorite little Morgantown stop, Apothecary!
Gorgeous opaque blackness with tan head that leaves the glass beautifully laced.
Aroma is sweet alcohol, campfire, and molasses.
Taste follows. Bright in the mouth yet smooth. High effervescence. A definite smooth drinkability.
I'm really liking Baltic Porters!
