Notes:
Half aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels, half aged in apple brandy barrels, then heavily infused with Madagascar vanilla beans, this luscious imperial stout is layered with confectionery goodness. First impressions lead your nose down a path of fire-side s'mores, toffee, and sweet bourbon; followed by nuances of caramel apples, charred oak and oatmeal raisin cookies.

Purchased this bottle in Asheville in July. Poured into a tulip glass. Oily dark brown color with effervescent brown head and good curtain lacing. Sweet apple brandy and chocolate smell and taste. Hot cinnamon candy, caramel, and dark fruit. Nice silky feel. Warm and comforting.

Got both 20/20 and wife wanted to try the sweeter one first. Oily black pour, no head save a brown ring. Smell as you might have guessed features the apple brandy and vanilla prominently, bakers chocolate, bourbon, molasses. and toffee linger. Taste only got better the more you had, revealing more of its secrets as it steadily warmed. Brandy, bourbon, and vanilla meld in so well with each other and into the chocolate, toffee, char, earth, roasted and caramel malt, and a hint of sweetbread. Feels has a large barrel presence without being super warm, malting is thorough yet smooth and roasted. Somewhat viscous too. The wife liked it
