Had on tap. Clear dark amber body with a khaki head and beautiful arching lacing. Smell has the oaken kiss accentuating the caramel malts and bready yeast, very balanced and pleasant. Taste gets into the depth of the german yeast more, great bready and light grain elements with the great touch of oak massaging the malt to have more depth beyond the usual caramel with subtle earth, dried leaves, and interacting with the yeast, toast. Feel is lighter but plenty malty with oak and yeast definition. Very nice with the oak playing the proper innovating role without taking over
