Invasive Species Brewing

 

This is a very cool brewery. On-site brew/service. Food truck onsite at various times. Good music. Inside and outside seating. Oh yeah, great selection of beers.

 

 

 

A little hard to find with GPS and not easy to spot even on top of it…free parking on street, but you may have to circle the block.

Long taproom bar area with some tables. Back patio is covered. Food truck in front of building. Cool artwork/fun vibe.

Beers are almost all IPA or sours (that’s what they’re known for) and well made in both catagories. Very knowledgeable friendly bar staff.

I’ve enjoyed all of my visits and will return.

Not too far from downtown; a dimly-lit bar with a tented “Biergarten” and patio tables outside. Selection is very IPA and sour heavy, which is not ideal, but at least the selection is diverse within style. Of the beers I tried, they were all pretty ho-hum. Service is standard, prices are standard. Very average brewery in 2023.

 

 

Invasive Species was located in a "hole in the wall" looking place....kinda off the beaten path. The place was hoppin' at 3pm on a Friday...but we were able to find seats at the relatively long bar. There were tables next to the bar and out door patio for those that like the FLO-RIDA heat. The quality of the IPAs and Sours was excellent so I am guessing the balance of the menu is above average. The service was very friendly and attentive. The selection was heavy on IPA and Sours....so that is why I am dingin' them on the selection rating. However, if you are an IPA aficionado....this is your place....must visit!

Best Brewery in Ft. Lauderdale. Big nice retro-modern taproom centrally located in F.L. Plenty of styles/varietes of beer are available. Staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the beer. Staff and other patrons are friendly.

Fun place to try great beer!
