I visited the Ram in the U-District last week and I enjoy the place. There's a restaurant in the front and a sizeable bar in the back, and the place is heavily sports-themed with lots of TVs and sports-type décor. The service I got was quick and friendly, not unexpected while sitting at the bar, but I've also sat in the restaurant section and have no complaints there either. Their beer selection is OK, with 9 or 10 taps including 4 unique beers made right there and the rest being available chain-wide. The beers were decent, if not mind-blowing. Worth checking out if you're looking for decent beer in a sports-bar type environment.

In my opinion this is a typical large chain American restaurant. The beers, at least in my opinion, at meh and the food is ok. About what you would expect from a large chain. Great place to watch a game though

Unfortunately, the Ram falls low on my list of quality brewpubs I visited while in Seattle. The atmosphere was nothing unique and felt very commercial; it's your basic sports bar. Yeah, it'd be fun to watch a game here with your buddies, but if we're talking about the overall beer experience, the Ram's atmosphere does nothing for it. The quality and selection of the beer was average at best. It's fresh and it's local, but that's about it. Nothing exciting or experimental. Our server was nice and attentive. Unless you're going to watch a game, save your time and visit some of the other countless brewpubs in Seattle.

The Ram in Seattle is located in the bustling University Village just a couple miles from the University of Washington. The proximity to the university means that occasionally the bar clientele is a little on the young side, but it never gets real bad. This area is chock full of all sorts of shopping options and gets quite busy on the weekends with parking being a real chore. Decor on the interior reminded me of a TGI Fridays' without all the clutter. If you end up shopping at 'The Village', you can't go wrong by stopping in and grabbing a pint.
