MAPLE BAY IPA , FRESH HOP IPA , ABV : 6.5%% , IBU : 30
This years FRESH HOP IPA has everyone at the brewery extremely excited! It’s been an amazing hop growing season at Maple Bay Hops farm with an absolutely stunning crop of organic Centennial and Cascade to show for it. Picked at their absolute prime, a copious amount of these beauties were used to brew this hazy, citrusy IPA. A week out and it was already tasting great in tank!

Backcountry Brewing 'Maple Bay IPA' Fresh Hop @ 6.5% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a yellow gold from the can to a hazy yellow gold in the glass with a large size white head leaving a streaky lace along the tulip
S-Cascade & Centennial - hops
T-minor juice bomb , decent bitter swallow
MF-ok carbonation , feels full bodied
Ov-disappointing NE Fresh Hop IPA , not juicer or fruiter

Poured from a 473ml can. Cascade and Centennial Hops from Maple Bay Hop Farm.
A very nice looking pour, about the best with this one.
A weak nose and the taste is very this, disappointed on this fresh hop.
Well the 2025 version is much better.
