Poured from a 32 oz crowler into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep, dark brown color with a touch of ruby. Has a 2 finger creamy tan head. Leaves a ridiculous amount of sticky lacing before settling into a blanket of foam. Excellent retention.
The aroma brings notes of chocolate malts and roasted coffee. There's some vanilla and sweet bread on the back end.
The flavor is very roasted and full of dark malts. There's some milk chocolate and vanilla cream with the faintest hint of roasted coffee on the finish. Nicely balanced.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very smooth, soft and creamy.
Overall, a great milk stout that is exceptionally balanced and flavorful. Milk stouts can be bordering on cloying but this one has tons of roasted malt elements to provide just enough bitterness to counter the sweeter notes. Well done.

On tap at the source. Deep brown bordering on black with a long lasting tan head. Roasty earthy on the nose and in the flavor. Light creamed coffee finish. Pretty tasty sweet stout.
