First time having this beer from Backyard and very impressed. More amber in color than I was expecting from an IPA with pine and grapefruit notes. I typically love the Lazy Daze here but this is a new favorite IPA.

Poured from a crowler into a pint glass.
Pours a mostly clear amber gold color with 2 fingers of fluffy all-white head. The head hangs around forever, leaving plenty of sticky cobweb lacing before settling into a thick blanket of foam.
The aroma brings a ton of caramel malt before a wave of grapefruit, orange rind, and pine needles.
The flavor follows the nose. Lots of caramel and sweet dough, followed by citrus and pine needles.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Nicely smooth and creamy with a crisp hop bite.
Overall, a good IPA that is nicely balanced and full of body and flavor.

Pours a fairly clear deep golden color with a bubbly white head.
Bits of bready caramel maltiness with just a hint of butterscotch and lots of pine grass and citrus. Not horrible, but this recipe could use a couple of tweaks.
