My work buddy didn't want his pour of this so it got passed to me.
To me, the appearance seemed nice enough with a semi-golden crisp yellow/orange color with no noticeable head or lace, but remember I got this beer after my work buddy didn't want it. I won't be too harsh here.
The aroma had some soft biscuit semi-sweet malts along with some grassy to earthy hops.
The flavor was all about those sweet biscuits, and further on the back end more earthy hops come out with some warmth. Clean malty aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied but having a wonderful sessionability about it. Good carbonation and a fleeting finish of biscuit dryness.
Overall, for the most part, I'd say it's a pretty good stab at a Helles lager.

Guest tap at the Great North 2nd Birthday Bash.
Slightly hazy deep gold color with a decent frothy off whit head. Rich bready lightly toasted maltiness with a hint of melanoid and bits of spicy floral hops. Really nice stateside lager, I'm quite impressed with this new brewery!
