This beer has definitely changed a bit from the first time I tried it over a year ago. Pours a bright golden yellow hazy beer (last time this was different). The head is bright white. The smell of the beer is ready and malty with the typical piney citrus of the style. Tastes exactly same as the smell. Absolutely delicious!

Stopped by Backyard today and had a few pops of this ($6.00 per pint). Also snagged a crowler for later ($12 for 32oz). Well, later is now!

Poured some into my good ol' Smutty snifter... It is slightly cloudy, and bright golden. Has very little in the way of internal carbo, but the head is a voluminous dollop of rocky, white foam. It's fluffy and long lasting, but does leave A-1 lacing when it does ebb back. Smell has some bready, toasty malt along with good amounts of piney citrus. The feel is very smooth, and the body is a solid medium to medium-plus.

Taste tags along with the aroma, with more toasty malt and light caramel. Then comes pineapple, grapefruit, some tangerine and apricot, and a touch of pithyness. It's a smidge piney and resiny, but has no bitterness, in my opinion, and goes does verrry easily!. When I had my first sip at the brewery, I said "yes!" right off. A solid, smooth, tasty DIPA!! Prosit!!

Poured from a crowler filled at the brewery.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with two fingers of sudsy white head. The head sticks around for a while, leaving an asinine amount if sticky lacing as it settles into a brick of foam.

The aroma is straight up danksauce. Lots of earthy pine and grass followed by a ton of honeydew melons, oranges, and pineapples. There's a touch of ruby red grapefruit on the back end.

The flavor is like chewing on a melon flavored landmine. There's also plenty of pineapple, grapefruit, and sweet bready malt before an earthy, piney finish.

The mouthfeel on this beer though. It's fluffy, soft, creamy and chewy with very soft carbonation. Just a touch oily, but not enough to affect the score.

Overall, this is a great DIPA that is dangerously drinkable and bursting with flavor. The oats really help "fluff" up the mouthfeel, which hides the oiliness very well. Damn this is good.

Hazy pale yellow in color without much of a head. Citrus and juicy hop aroma with a cereal gran breadiness to counter. Smooth rich mouthfeel pretty tasty.
