Taster at the source
Bright hazy golden orange color with a thin white head that slowly dissipates. Light maple against a bready honey malt and light earthy clove and light pepper. Sweet but tasty.

On tap at the brewpub.
The appearance had a semi-bright copper to orange hue to it. Small bar pour's kind of slim head swiftly slid off. No lace.
The aroma had an equal balance of maple syrup to sweet wheat sliding over some grassy hops.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side but I get it, when wheat and maple get together, well what else does one expect, right? And the aftertaste, yes, obviously maple and wheat sweetness.
The mouthfeel controlled quite well by having a medium body and fine sessionability. Good enough carbonation and nothing cloying (which I have to admit, that's a big kudos to the brewer as I don't find many maple wheat ales that aren't cloying). The finish had a fine kiss of maple.
Overall, I haven't found many brewers out there that are able to pull off maple wheat ales with such an incredible balance so my hat goes off to these guys.
