On draft at the brewery.
Pours a beautiful ruby red color with a finger of pinkish-white head. Leaves a fair bit of lacing before settling into a thin film.
The aroma is pretty straightforward and unbalanced: Lots of raspberries and tart lemon notes. Not much else to speak of.
The flavor is definitely more balanced but doesn't bring much in the way of flavor. Tart raspberries, lemons and black currants followed by a huge wave of wheat bread. Good, but nothing stands out about it.
The feel is light bodied with good carbonation. Relatively refreshing and dry.
Overall, a pretty good Berliner that's well balanced and modestly tart. It's nothing special but definitely worth trying if you are into the style.

On tap at the source.
Arrives at the table a hazy deep reddish purple color without much of a head. Tart lemony aroma with a euphony of rich berry attacking my nostrils. The flavor is rich succulent berry up front that the lemony tartness cuts through and balances but never overpowers. The mouthfeel is sweet up front with a light puckering that dries the palette just enough to make you salivate until you take another sip. Light tingling carbonation on the tongue light to medium body. That is a tasty beer, I wish I hadn't finished with this beer because I would have loved to sip on these all night.
