Crowley shared by Tim, thanks!
Opaque black with brown edging in the glass and a short head of beige. Dark roast coffee with cocoa and a hint of coconut in the nose. Full bodied with a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Espresso with bakers chocolate on the palate with a hint of coconut and acrid malts. Finishes pretty dry and a bit ashy with lingering coffee, chocolate, and char.
Nice beer but the coconut is subdued and the burnt malt character detracts a bit.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this beer!!
A - Dark brown to black in color, opaque with a massive caramel colored head that's sticky on the sides of the glass.
S - Lots of dark cocoa, a small spicy sting on the nose possibly cinnamon?, dark roasted malt.
T - Dark roasted chocolate, cinnamon, cream, cocoa, and finishes with a roasted cinnamon cocoa finish. Lingering cocoa and cinnamon.
M - Rich and silky, full bodied, sticky on the lips.
O - This is a fantastic Imperial Stout!

Merritt Badge Imperial Stout Aged on Coffee, Cacoa Nibs, almonds, Andy coconut and 11.9% ABV. Pours a slick black with a massive 3 finger light brown head that leaves spotty lace with excellent retention as it slowly settles into a thin layer of khaki bubbles. 4.5
Smell is strong roasty coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, nutty, and a healthy dose of toasted coconut. 4.5
Taste follows roasty coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and a nice hit of toasted coconut dominates the bold finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is big, moderate amount of carbonation, maybe a tad dry, and at 11.9% ABV goes down very easy. 4.25
Overall this is a top notch dessert beer that really makes you want another one and shocks you that a beer of this size could drink so easy. 4.5

Poured from a crowler filled at the brewery.
Pours a motor oil pitch-black color with 2 fingers of fluffy tan head. The head leaves a fair bit of cobweb lacing before settling into a thick blanket of foam.
The aroma is full of thick fudge, roasted coffee, coconut, almonds, and marshmallows. There's also some roasted grains on the back end. Stupid.
The flavor follows the nose to a T: Deep, rich chocolate fudge, fresh coffee beans, coconut and almonds followed by some marshmallows, caramel and dark roasted grains. Definitely a sweet stout but not cloying.
The feel is full bodied with soft carbonation. Very thick and chewy, soft and creamy. There's some subtle alcohol warmth but that's to be expected.
Overall, an absolutely fantastic imperial stout. It's definitely sweet, but never cloying. It comes exactly as advertised; lots of chocolate and coconut but plenty of coffee notes to balance things out.
