Necronomiquad is an unapologetically special Belgian-style quad. Brewed with loads of caramel and fermented hotter than the underworld—this beer is sweet, boozy, and traditionally Belgian. We made this beer to celebrate our 100th batch at Backyard, and painstakingly bottled each one of these by hand. Enjoy...or else.

I had a couple of these with Alewife last Tuesday, then a few more with D1 Caitlin today at the Brewery... brought home a growler and am enjoying another right now... Regular 10oz pour was $6.00, and a growler was $24.00.

Pours a clear, carbo-less mahogany/amber/ruby color. Super color, with a minimal head, mostly some light beige bubbles hanging out at the rim. Lacing is light, as well. Aromas has some plum, dates, and light cherry. Medium-bodied, and it is very smooth.

Flavor mimics the nose, with lots of semi-sweet dark fruit - dates, cherry, plum, etc... Has a bit of candi-sugar, and intimations of caramelized brown-sugar. Finishes mostly on the dry side, with lingering fruitiness. Spot-on Quad!! Prosit!!

Sample at the source tonight.
Fairly clear dark auburn in color with a thin short lived head. Rich caramel and lightly fruity and melanoidin maltiness. Light spicy earthy yeasty characters. Pretty tasty with a hint of warming alcohol.
