16oz can dated 4/19/20.

Pours cloudy gold with a short head of white. Minimal retention or lacing. Peach puree, candied grapefruit, and orange oil in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. The palate is bursting with ripe tropicals. Orange, peach, and grapefruit. Finishes a bit sweet and tongue-numbing with lingering citrus pith, minimal bitterness and zero malt.

I had this beer for the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW. Hands down my favorite beer to date from Backyard. Pours a bright yellow with a small head that remained. The aromatics of this beer are strong with citrus and grapefruit. I would not call this double a juice bomb but its definitely juicy. What I like is that it was not heavy by any means. I did not feel like I was drinking an above 8% beer. Well done Backyard! Please bring this one back!!

After visiting Stark/Milly's with Alewife yesterday, I met up with daughter Caitlin for a couple at the Backyard... Had two pints of this, at $6.00 per.

It was a cloudy, muted golden hue. Head was a layer of creamy white foam, which lasted well with excellent lace. The nose had lots of lovely semi-sweet citrus, with mango and pineapple abounding. Feel was nicely smooth, with a medium-plus body.

Flavor had more citrus after starting with a touch of lightly sweet, bready, crackery malt. Then came the pineapple, some tangerine and apricot, and a little grapefruit. Never got bitter on me at all. A solid DIPA!! Prosit!

Poured into a 13 oz Kettlehead Snulip glass canned on 12/07/18. Pours a very hazy yellow with a solid finger plus sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin wisps of lace as it slowly settles.

Smell is passion fruit, mango, tangerine, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows passion fruit, tangerine, a little mango, and a nice little hit of grapefruit in the slightly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is solid medium, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 8.8% ABV it is dangerously drinkable.

Overall I really dig this one, it held its own with of my favorites I had before it.
