Swung by The Yard on 22FEB20 with daughter Caitlin for some grub & grog... Had a 10oz pour of this to start, at $6.50.
Poured a dense, opaque chestnut color. Had a light ring of foam at the rim, but nothing else, with no lacing. Aroma had light caramel, fruity notes and some boozy, winey action. Body was solid, and it was rather smooth going down.
Flavor had a hint of caramel malt, but then got fruity, and slightly tart. Was quite hot and boozy, with the wine being quite noticeable. Was rather funky, all-in-all, and not too much to my liking. Prosit!
