Trying to support our local breweries during this difficult time, I snagged a 4-pack of this last Saturday ($12.00). Diving into a couple right now out on the back deck...
It's a clear brew, with a gorgeous, deep golden color. Carbo is plentiful and aggressive, while the 1/4" head is fine and tight, with solid lacing. The aroma is somewhat bready, with pear and green apple notes. Body is about medium, and it has minimal prickle to upset the tongue.
Flavor is semisweet, with some tasty light fruit action. Has more green apple and pear, plus a hint of honey and candi sugar. The finish is on the dry side, with intimations of pepper and spiciness. Solid!! Prosit!!
