This stout is brewed with roasted barley, oats, caramel, and chocolate malt. We use local organic coffee beans from our friends at Pony Expresso to add flavor and aroma.

On tap at 1850 Brewing
A: Pours super dark brown, nearly black with a frothy khaki tan head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Nice and Roasty, earthy char, fresh strong black coffee, hints of dark fruit, and a little burnt sugar sweetness.
T: Roasty, char, faint hint of smoke, black coffee, earthy, peppery spice, and a little toffee and burnt sugar sweetness.
M: Medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation.
O: A coffee stout for black coffee lovers. I'd personally prefer just a touch more sweetness to balance it, but still solid.
