This West Coast style IPA uses a touch of caramel malt while Cascade and Eureka hops lend a pine like aroma similar to the crisp mountain air you will find in the high sierras at timberline

On tap at 1850 Brewing
A: Pours golden orange amber with a frothy pale tan head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Resinous pine, citrus zest, peppery spice, green grassy herbal notes, hints of tropical and stone fruit, ever so slightly toasty bready malt, and a dry finish. Probably a fairly fresh keg cuz it's still got some "stick your nose in a bag of hops" intensity.
T: Assertive resinous pine and peppery spice, citrus big grapefruit and some orange, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit slowly comes out, pineapple, peach, apricot and passion fruit, earlier so slightly toasty bready malt, and a fairly dry finish.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation. Bitterness definitely lingers, in a good way.
O: According to the beer menu this one now features Chinook and Comet, and it works beautifully. Checks all the boxes you'd want in a classic West Coast IPA.
