Poured from a bottle.
Pours black with about a fingers worth of foamy mocha head. The smell was just a hint of booze with chocolate and a bit of coffee. On first taste, I got mostly coffee, which I personally am not a fan of, but after a few drinks I started to get more chocolate with just a bit of barrel. Medium mouth feel that got easier to drink as it went. It was what I was looking for in a nice Sunday evening beer.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a deep, dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of off white, foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: An interesting and sweet aroma of chocolate, malt, citrus, coffee, and pine.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of malt (present throughout), a nice little shot of coffee, some chocolate notes (just enough), light citrus notes (orange), and a hint of pine resin. This is one of those flavors that grows on you. The addition of citrus and pine is a little odd at first, but it blends well after a while. Pretty tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly unusual, easy to like beer. Worth a look.
