From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 07/17/20 L5"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium gold color with a haze that allows clearly defined shadows through it but makes it difficult to read through. It has a large fluffy white head with very good retention.
Aroma: The beer has a nice orange aroma that is clear, fresh, and zesty. It has notes of tangerine and grapefruit as well, but it leans more towards orange and tangerine. As the beer sits for a bit there is a hint of wildflower which smells a bit like floral soap.
Taste: Up front there is this floral flavor and grain husk taste. Towards the middle it takes on a bit of grapefruit pith. The aftertaste is more of that grapefruit pith.
Mouthfeel: It is on the heavier side of a light bodied beer with a thickness that slows down drinkability. It has a mild bitterness akin to very pulpy orange juice.
Overall: It's a decent beer with some really great aromas and a nice flavor profile. It will likely "scratch the itch" for a New England IPA but it feels like it's not quite there. The highlight of the beer is the wonderful aroma. I could drink it from time to time but it isn't likely to be one I pick up often. I would recommend at least picking up a single to try it out.
