This bottle version is 9.0%. Handsome golden brew with white lacing in the tall Blanche de Chambly goblet. I don't know how to rate the mouthfeel-- it is sudsy and beery, but the hops are making me salivate involuntarily. Taste is candied grapefruit peel. Sweet and astringent.
Aroma is something vastly fruity with the citrus oil up your nose. This is totally weird. I don't think you could detect any sort of Belgian character here, or orange flavor for that matter. Aftertaste is serious grapefruit pith and very bitter. It's actually a total overdose of whatever that hop is. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.
