inflatablechair picked this one up for the Boise crew.. Thanks a TON Sammy!! Awesome brew!
Pours a pretty clear lite amber.. nice white head with minimal lacing.
The aroma is very fruity.. deep cherry and apple... lactic and old brett funk.. a little oak and dry fruitiness.
white balsamic... white peaches.... the acetic notes are very pleasant and add volumes to the brew.... sour cherry and sour plum make me think lactic sour... tannic oak.... with everything, this is superbly balanced... the wood comes off in layers of vanilla and lite tannins that meld into the residual sugars...
A bit "acetic" and maybe "Flemish" with warmth... complex and wonderful... I wish we had a few more growlers just to enjoy and laugh about... because, this is a brew that demands attention.

On tap at Beer Mongers 3.20.2010. $3.00 pint.
Cloudy yellow body, minimal head, some lacing. Nose is funky and sweet, honey, orange peel, some cardamon. Taste is similar to the nose, with a healthy wallop of Brett for good measure, with a bit of vanilla from barrel aging, very little hop presence. Fairly full mouthfeel. To be honest I had a hard time finishing the glass, the brett and sweetness made for a fairly unbalanced beer. I plaudit Walking Man for this outside the box beer, but I'll pass on this next time.
