Fresh hop beer involves a mad dash to your nearest grower and back, always attempting to get the freshly picked hops in the beer in record time. This year we used 100 pounds of fresh Centennial hops from Crosby Hops in Woodburn, OR. Massive notes of hop resin, citrus, and freshly cut grass!

Had this last fall at the brewery. I love the fresh hopped beers, because they are milder on the bitterness level and a little sweetness. Out of all the fresh hopped beers I've had I think I've only had 1 or 2 that were not really good.
