on draft at the brewery in a shaped pint glass
dark chestnut brown in color, fairly clear, with cream colored head - decent head retention. Nice big pleasant coffee aroma - roasty but not too acid or acrid. The brown ale caramel and bready malt flavors nicely support the dominating coffee flavors. Well balanced with the sweet malt and bitter coffee. Medium bodied, fuller mouthfeel.
