There's a problem here. How could it be impossible to empty a pint can into a clear glass liter mug? Foam and too much of it. Albeit, at room temperature, no flavored Stout should foam up like this during a gentle pour. Concerns already arise like the foam. Also, the liquid seems a little thin for a stout and there's no, or very little peanut aroma to be had. The foam recedes unevenly and unattractively, like wheat infused "IPA"s. Finally, the whole pint's contents fit inside the vessel and there's almost no peanut aspect to smell. Neither is there much, if any roasted barley. Other than that, it looks like a stout. The color is black coffee brown and the foam, a solid tan. In a blind taste test, it would be difficult to determine that the taste of peanuts was intended to dominate here. Almost all there is for the tongue is some bitter hopping, or maybe it's just over-roasted malt. The body is watery. At least there's a 7.9% ABV that's fairly well hidden. So, at only $16 for a four-pack of pints, this isn't a total loss. Hmm, maybe poured over some ice cream for a float. Yeah, that might work.
