Had a pint on tap at the brewery in Oklahoma City:
Look: pours a somewhat dark amber color with a 1 finger white head. The head quickly dissipated but did maintain a bit around the circumference of the glass. Laces well at first, but doesn’t lace well toward the end.
Smell: the aroma is very hoppy. Notes of pine and citrus.
Taste: citrus and hops hit initially, followed by a bit of pine and a light touch of Vienna malts.
Feel: medium to heavy body, medium to high carbonation. Citrus feels a bit heavy at first but the hops balance it out soon after the first sip, leaving me feeling refreshed and wanting more.
Overall, a good West Coast style IPA, and very fairly priced ($6.50 for a pint). The bitterness and hoppiness are evident and refreshing.
