At the taproom in OKC:
Pours a coffee black color. Light tan head starts about 1.5 fingers but quickly recedes. Leaves a bit of lacing, but not a lot.
Aroma: this may be a first for me, but the aroma is actually my favorite aspect of this beer, even as simple as it is. It is primarily coffee and vanilla. Fairly simple but pleasant.
Taste follows the aroma. I understand that this is intended to be similar to the Left Luggage Porter, and it is. It’s basically that beer plus a bit of vanilla bean.
Feel: bold like you would expect from a porter. Body is somewhat heavy but ABV isn’t too high, so it is fairly easy for me to put away a few of them.
Overall: worth trying for sure. It’s only available in the taproom, so if you find yourself in Oklahoma City, come give it a go.
