This Double Stout began as a creamy, smooth base of oats and lactose and dark brown sugar as part of a complex grist alongside seven other malts. Balanced additions of raspberry and honey then enhanced this dessert beer to new heights. Even more depth and complexity comes from eleven months ageing in barrels.

Suitable for vegetarians. Contains malted barley, wheat (gluten)

440 ml can, as Turning Point Cranachatoa Raspberry & Honey Double Stout. Bourbon, Cognac & PX Sherry Barrel Aged, from Left Field Beer webshop, England. ABV is 8.4%. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, mild coffee, raspberries, honey, oak and spirits. Flavour with the same elements, also chocolate, lactose and vanilla. Low bitterness.
