330ml bottle poured into a teku glass.
Translucent deep copper amber color, the pour builds up thick frothy off-white head that well retains itself with good retention before slowly subsiding to a lasting bubble sheet on the surface and leaving lots of lacing patch and spot.
In a nose, mainly pine and pepper, then fruity of citrus, lemon, berries, grape, floral, wood, and garlic spice. Malt is also there with bread and sweet caramel.
The taste is bold with pine and peppery spice like the aroma. The fruity flavors thereafter blend in with notes of citrus, lemon, berries, grape, as well as floral and persistent woody bitterness that wraps up the finish and lasting in the aftertaste.
The body is medium with smooth mouthfeel and some lively carbonation. The feeling is crisp and refreshing with a pleasantly dry finish.
Good NZ IPA with a slight touch of US, it is mostly focus on spice and pine with good fruity and malty characters to reinforce.
