473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $4.50 CDN. Canning date of February 16, 2022.
Appearance - Hazy, golden orange colored brew with two fingers of long lived white head and good staying power. Nice curtain of lacing sticks to the edge of the glass.
Smell - General citrus with grapefruit, orange, subdued mango and cantaloupe. A bit boozy / spicy mixture too.
Taste - Pretty subdued initially, picks up with some grapefruit and tangerine. Some cantaloupe in there and finishes with a little grapefruit pith. Not super intense up front, but that works nicely for the long play. Booziness is noticeable but appropriate for a DIPA.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation and a light carbonation. Heavier and stickier, although that plays with the flavor profile pretty nicely.
Overall - A pretty good DIPA, maybe not great, but pretty enjoyable on the whole, especially if you're looking for something a little stickier on a cold early spring night.

December 14 beer from Nita’s 2021 Beer Advent Calendar
Pours an orangey god colour with a thick and hearty head. I get a lot of hops on the nose with some tropical notes. The taste on the other hand has a weird woody note (like a barrel) and something like char. There is also hoppy notes in the flavour but behind the predominant wood.
