Brick red with a head that lasts for decades. 30% opaque.
Smells of Apple Cider Vinegar and distilled white vinegar.
Flavor has plenty of lactobacillus, with flavors of mashed cherry, Lemon-lime Lucas, and oak barrel.
Feel is medium bodied, coats the palate, ample carbonation.
Overall this was okay. Not sure I'd have it again.

Pours a deep cherry red color with a slight off white head. Thick foam lasts the duration and laces the glass. Aroma of cherry, sourness and sweetness, very much to style. The flavor has sour cherry, mineral, sweet malt, funk and hard water. Very well presented, savory almost, and plenty of flemish and cherry character. Light bodied, easy drinking beer. Recommended for belgian fans and sour heads, but honestly not a very sour specimen.

750ml shared a couple nights ago and reviewed from some notes.
A - A really great hazy maroon color with a large beige head to start, really crazy sticky retention at about a finger and substantial lacing left behind.
S - Faint scents of cherry, apple, a light earthy woody funk, bread. Kinda basic, not bad, but really pretty tame.
T - Starts pretty decent with a decent sour kick, moderate cherry flavor is about evened by apple, pear, and white grape, bready and yeasty flavors, a bit of a weird/kinda weird in a meh way funk going on. But these tastes really fail to last on the palate and wind up finishing surprisingly blandly. Kind of a wine and champagne feel.
M - Much like the base beer, not the worst but this is probably the lowlight for me. Feels watery and almost seltzer-y in carbonation level, and the disappointing finish doesn't help things. A bit on the acidic side but not a bad thing, this at least had a decent and biting tartness unlike the original.
O - Happy to report that it's an improvement over the original for the most part, as in it actually tastes like stuff for a little while there and the cherries addition helps. The flavors+tartness start decent, but fade into weak-sauce kinda abruptly, overall mouthfeel is a bit of a hindrance as well. While flavors are still there for tasting though, not bad.
