Is this meant to be a dark wheat? Pours a murky light brown orange colour that is similar to muddy water.
Citrus overload! Nose is all citrus - lime, lemons, grapefruits, orange etc. Nothing else to note.
Again palate citrus overkill. Palate is unmistakably grapefruit, grapefruit and more grapefruit. Very tart and drying on the palate. No real balance so to speak.
Not impressed with this beer at all. The only thing going for it was that you were a little more used to it by the end, but not enough to go back for seconds.

I seem to be having a lot of German whaets lately and i keep coming up with the same description, its basically copybook, if a little weak, banana, clove, wheat, medium finish, well balanced. Refreshing and lightly tart and crisp, only available on tap at the Portland Hotel in Melbourne.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
