This came as a clear mid amber bere with a fantastic head of 1 cm that stayed to the bottom of the glass leaving a thin wavy lace.
The smell was allhops , clean but very monotonal.
Taste as most have said is all about hops, which the bar keep promised. he also promised some fruitiness which wasnt as apparent to me.
Really has nailed the carbonation crispness and watery qualities to the mouthfeel.
I had this with flathead fillets and it went with them pretty damn well.
This is a brilliant beer when compared to lots of beers but doesnt quite have enough complexity when compared to other great APAs
I guess it is just a bit boring , in anice way though

Now that's what I'm talking about! There's the hop kick I'm looking for; the IPA just didn't do it for me. In fact, move the IPA into the English Bitter category and re-market this thing as your IPA, James Squire folks. Pours an orange/amber with a tan, frothy head. Hops smack your nose around, and then cling onto the back of your tongue. A heavy malt backbone keeps the bitterness tame, however. Nice brew.

Whoa, the hops in this beer kicks you right in the teeth.

A = Poured a golden orange with a medium bodied head that lingers.

S = You can smell the aroma of sweet summer fruits like apples, pears and grapes.

T = A slight fruity taste right before the big hop monster comes and KICKS YOU IN THE MOUTH. Then all you can taste is HOP HOP HOP.

M = Very dry and bitter.

D = Not a badly made beer. Nuclear Hop Explosions in my mouth not my idea of an enjoyable beer.

very similar to their pale ale, but it has been thrice hopped, so is very very dry and bitter. not a bad beer but not something i couldnt handle drinking all the time.

clear and very light golden color, with a thinnish head. lemon and lime like aromas, gentle malts, very hoppy. the taste is lemon with some lime, sweetish malts. very spritzy and light bodied. the hops hit ya from the minute you start drinking it and increase in power as it goes. something more in the vein of american pale ales, hoppy to the point of being excruciating. very dry finish, all in a good way tho. puts other dry beers in this state to shame.

too powerful for my liking, but i dont mind having one every so often for something a little different. this would be one BA's from the us would be all over in a big way.
