Reviewing again.

I used to like Carlsberg because they sponsored Liverpool and when I was 3 I actually thought it was maybe the best beer in the world.

Super bubbly like washing up liquid. Pale colour. Aroma is kind of sweet malty hops, but nothing particularly interesting. Flavour is super smooth and thin. Flavour is well balanced and not overtly sweet. Well balanced and easy to drink fast. Totally ok and better than Warka and Zywiec for me. But mega light.

A Euro pilsner, 5%, Carlsberg...claims of being probably the best beer in the world...you cannot get much more commercial than this. And my review last time:

Pale colour and fairly light head. Rather an off malty aroma, not detecting any hops. Aroma reminds me of the barley malt extract in Weetabix, which you will only know about if you are from England.

Taste is smooth and actually better than I was expecting. Super light and easy drinking. I detect honey, maybe some figs, some effervescence...thin mouth feel with a little hops aftertaste...at least the malt is super light, so it doesn't overpower the light hops.

Closer to being the worst beer in the world than the best, I think they really should change their motto. Is this Polish version better than versions brewed in other countries? I'm not sure, it's a while since I drank other versions. This seems a little more easy drinking and light than some others. I'm pretty sure the Danish version is better, though I can't remember as I think it would have been at least 10 years since I tried it.

I think the cheapest Polish pilsners, Zubr and Warka, are significantly better than this. However it's still perfectly drinkable and smooth. For me a Chouffe IPA or West Coast IPA from America deserve the highest marks, so a 1.5 overall for this is actually pretty generous I think, especially considering their claims of it being premium and maybe the best beer in the world. Actually I think because of their claims, I will change the overall score to 1, I think it's fair. I did the same to other beers who claimed to be something that they are not, such as a Swedish beer that claimed to be an English lager when it was obviously like an English bitter, so I totally drank it at the wrong temperature.
