500 ml bottle, from EKO Market, Stavanger. ABV is 3.8%. Clear and deep mahogany colour, large off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and dark rye bread, hints of dark fruits. Smooth and pleasant flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, hints of burnt breadcrumbs, very moderate but still noticeable bittering hops.

L: SRM 38 Pours very dark brown with light carbo, a 1/4" light khaki creamy head that recedes to froth, medium sticky loose lacing.
S: Aroma is dark fruits, raisins, brown bread, light cocoa, darkly roasted caramel malts.
T: Taste follows aroma plus plum, dried dark fruits. It is lightly sweet on the lips, gently earthy, and has a bit of a supple and off-dry taste overall.
F: Smooth medium bodied feel with a medium-fast length lightly dry finish.
O: A very easy to drink and pleasant tasting beer. Excellent balance, smooth drinking and is priced nicely. It is very good in its style.
