Deep black color with a thick beige head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of pine, roasted malt, yeast, melon, papaya and barnyard.
Flavor with notes of papaya, roasted malts, coffee, pine, grapefruit juice, dark chocolate, some sourness, lactic acid, cola, resin, orange peel, Brazilian jabuticaba and oats. Dry and bitter aftertaste provided by its 90 IBUs.
Full body with appropriate carbonation.
I found this with a weird aroma and somewhat an awkward combination of flavors. Maybe this got mildly contaminated. Still it has a great fruit, malt and hop complexity.
