Color is black with a creamy tan head.
Aroma is a peppery and figgy coffee with hints of chocolate. Pretty big bubblegum not as well.
Flavor is thin, acrid, slightly vegetal coffee. Bit of a carbonic acid note. Some notes of dark chocolate. Not disgusting, but not great.
Mouthfeel is medium with a slightly higher than moderate carbonation. Alcohol is mostly unnoticed.
So, according to the draft menu this is a Belgian style Porter. I think it's cool that this brewery was trying something new (at least I've never heard of a Belgian style Porter), but the landed pretty flat on the effort. From what I gathered form their website, the only started last fall (2019), so hopefully they can iron out the kinks.
tl;dr: I admire the creativity, but it needs work. Look forward to trying future efforts.
