Poured at cellar temp. Pours pitch black with a little bit of brown head. The nose is dark malts, coffee, and vanilla. The taste is really nice. I'm actually not getting much of the heat on this. I would prefer a bit more for a Mexican cake edition. Mostly a really nice stout with vanilla, coffee, and cacao. Nothing too crazy. Good creamy mouthfeel.

Pours an opaque, pitch-black coloration with a small, creamy, mocha-colored head. Smells of roasted, slightly caramelly malt, coffee, and chocolate, as well as hints of vanilla and chiles. Taste is a great balance of roasted, slightly caramelly malt and strong notes of dark, bitter chocolate and coffee, as well as just a hint of vanilla, licorice and tobacco, with a pleasant chile heat lingering on the tongue in the aftertaste. Finishes with a light bitterness, medium chile heat and some coffee and chocolate lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I love a good Mexican Cake Stout and this one certainly qualifies, featuring just the right balance for the style to my personal taste. It's rather roasted, with a little bitterness but little sweetness coming through, while finishing with a distinct chile heat on the tongue. The strong coffee and rather dark and bi6tter chocolate fit this perfectly, with just a hint of vanilla coming through. Pretty good body and mouthfeel as well, although not outstanding.

Served from the bottle in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep midnight burnt hickory topped by a finger of tan foam. The nose comprises salted caramel brownie, light vanilla bean, and a hint of cinnamon. The taste brings in more of the same, with a sharper sense of chocolate, less caramel, and a bit of underlying heat from the peppers (though this remains nicely subtle). The body is a hefty medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a rather dry finish. A very nice combination of sweet, roasty, and spicy (heat-wise) elements.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Con queso de Codi y caña de lomo de Mercadona + picos. Jugando Hellblade y, luego, a Spiderman Miles Morales. Picante comedido que la da interés sin dificultar el trago y aún así toma el protagonismo de la birra, aunque cierto toque cafetoso sigue notándose y proporcionándole mayor complejidad. Los 12 grados se nota bien poco

Pours a flat motor oil without any head
Smell of coffee and spices
Roasted, sweet and a bit unbalanced the chili doesn't make the cut
The mouthfeel doesn't really do wonder here.
I expected something bolder
