Murky orangey body with a squat bubble cap. Smell relieves fears though with plenty of wood fired and somewhat meaty smoke, supported by earth, dark grain, with sweeter biscuit malt and fruitier wheat notes contrasting. Taste has the same set up, but I will say it is sweeter, drinks almost like a smoked old world cookie with that apricot/orange accent, then a dark wheat and earthy influence on the finish. This is good! Feel is lighter yet plenty full and the wheat with slight booziness is felt.
