33 cl can - a collab with Fugu Brewing Company (Belgium). Poured lightly chilly into a Teku glass in Toulouse, FR. A moderate foam caps deep brown brew.
Nose is strong aromas of dark chocoloate, dried fruits in tow. Undeniable whiff of oak.
Taste follows, the cacao right up front, presenting itself as rich chocolate cream, stone fruits appear. The use of chestnuts allows a nuttiness to compliment the barrel and keeps the Stout from being overly thick. Sweet chocolate takes a bow at the finish.
Mouth is full and creamy. Low end of medium carbonation.
Overall, a well crafted chocolate-forward Stout.
