Ember Waves pours an amber color, with not much head. Aroma is sweet and a little smoky, malty. Flavor is the same, sweeter, a little smoke, and a nice grain/malty flavor. Good body and feel. Overall, a nice red ale, on the sweet side, but very drinkable, with a punch.
