Bold, rich, Imperial Stout with locally-sourced Mariposa coffee added post fermentation. Pours black with an enduring tan head. Aromas of artisan coffee and silky dark chocolate. The taste of subtle black licorice and earthy flavors, combined with it’s coffee richness, accentuate this full-bodied beer leaving a lasting impression of its roasted malts and coffee character.

On tap at the brewery in OKC.
Pours a black with a thin, light tan head that retains very well. Some lacing but not much.
Powerful coffee aroma with a bit of chocolate. It resembles espresso.
The taste is predominantly coffee bitterness with semisweet chocolate notes to balance it out. Finish is long, roasty, and semi dry. The high alcohol content isn’t really noticeable. On taste alone, I would put this forward as a challenge to absolutely any imperial stout.
Feel: medium body, high carbonation. Smooth and very easy to drink. I would guess 7.5-8% ABV, not 11.
Overall: easily one of my favorite beers. For reference, my highest scored beers are Founders’ KBS and CBS, and this beer in my opinion is just as good as either of those two well known, world class beers. It is also reasonably priced - it was $7.50 for a 10 oz serving at the Stonecloud taproom.

Pours an effervescent ebony with one finger of tan head. decent head retention & lacing
S: Mocha, stronger coffee, delivers on the nose
T: Follows the nose, dryness, a little vanilla & roastyness up front. Roasty,, dry with a little caramel as this warms. Finishes with strong coffee, caramel, & dryness
MF: Medium body, lively carbonation that compliments the flavors
Hard to believe this is 11.0%, bloody drinkable. One I would happily buy again

Thanks Russ!
Wow, what a gem!
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color capped with a small quarter finger's worth off eggshell white foamy head. Mildly dissipated to leave some light concave lace that held together so nicely it practically looked like cream.
The aroma had an awesome blend of sweet dry coffee beans rolling into some dark chocolate bitterness. Sweet earthiness with a sly esspresso-like shot coming in subtly.
The flavor mixes well the sweet to the bitter with a superb dry and roasty warming coffee bean to light husk-like character. Mild aftertaste of coffee bean, roast and an even lighter touch of toast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation and ABV felt on par. Very smooth along my tongue. And then there's the finish, damn! So smooth with luscious dark and milk chocolate sweetness strolling along with just enough grip.
Overall, this beer seems to have all of the right moves for coffee stout fans. You're nuts if you call yourself one and think this beer is awful.

Black and shiny and covered with a finger of tan froth. Bean husk, espresso, sweet chocolate, faint vanilla and pine in the aroma. Tastes of dark chocolate mixed with gum and followed by a shot of espresso. Has a slightly bitter finish. Alcohol is barely noticeable. A nice staple RIS from the SC folks.

Poured from a can purchased in OKC.
Very deep brown with large tan head.
Alcoholic aroma. Flavor has coffee, dark chocolate, fairly sweet with some hops.
Nice medium-full mouthfeel.
Very sweet finish.
I probably would have liked it a bit dryer, but I did enjoy the high ABV (and good price given the ABV).

A malty front with with medium/heavy alchohol finished with a coffee after taste.

Beer pours black with a small head. The smell is coffee and something I can't put a finger on and alcohol. The flavor is strong coffee and sweet. The feel is smooth with no hard aftertaste. Overall a damn good stout from Oklahoma!

I just finished this one so I can't really rate as I go but a great beer overall and nothing to not like about it. Looks like a nice stout, didn't get much of a head when pouring into a standard American pint glass, just what you'd expect from a +10% stout. Smells great with the coffee really coming through along with a malty chocolate. Taste is just what I hoped for, a malty smooth stout with a bitter espresso aftertaste, didn't notice the alcohol much. Not as creamy or thick as I'd like. Overall this is a good one, although I may be biased because I'm from the state where it was made, but this stout holds a light to any of the big name imperial stouts. Nothing extraordinary but one to definitely get every time you get a mix 6.
