A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and pear are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lychee and hints of mango. A light amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't nearly as bitter compared to other West Coast IPAs and seems more like a hybrid of an Imperial IPA and a New England IPA. It does a very good job at masking any traces of alcohol from the taste.

32oz Crowler from the Taproom 10-15-17

Beautiful, bright, clear gold with a 1" white head and long retention. Sticky lacing left behind.
Pine and citrus on top of sweet and perceived sticky malts. Smells great.
Spicy with hops, rye, and alcohol...nicely balanced as an Imperial IPA though. More pine, weed in the hop flavor than citrus.
Feels bright and clean in the mouth, medium to medium-long finish. Carbonation is right on.
Another winner from Stonecloud, these guys are doing real, real good.

A billowy tan froth breaks down slowly leaving sticky residue all around the tulip. Color is a deep red with orange hues. Prominent notes of pine extend from the glass in all directions. Taste is fairly complex and balanced with notes of brown sugar, mellow (and some might argue subdued) piney hops and distant vanilla. Some soured light fruits (pear, honeydew or cantaloupe) are also noticed Medium and dry with little to no alcohol heat to speak of. Not your usual DIPA, and definitely not a hop bomb, but tastes yummy to me.

From crowler filled 08/21/2017.

Pours to a permanent white head that laces. Medium golden color with brilliant clarity. Aroma is juicy, fruity, herbal hops and baked goods. Flavor is a smooth, clean abv-deceiving mix of sweet malts balanced with a strong charge of diverse hop flavors and a balancing bitterness. The dryness of the rye really makes the finish great. This is a clean, snappy DIPA with rye.
